In San Sebastian de Garabandal, a small village in the north of Spain, four girls named Jacinta, Mari Loli, Conchita and Maricruz, were witnesses of the apparitions of the Blessed Holy Virgin Mary and Saint Michael archangel, from 1961 to 1965. Amalia, sister of one of the seers, shares with us her experiences of those years. When relatives and neighbors witnessed their ecstasies, pilgrimages from all around the globe started coming to the village. Then, the Catholic Church decided to question the four seers in order to find out whether the phenomena were true facts or due to the imagination of the little girls. Once the Catholic Church accepted the miracles, pilgrimages increased. In 1961, priest Luis María Andreu, a seers' friend, visited Garabandal and had an ecstasy. Back home, he died after saying that it was the happiest day of his life. Pilgrimages to Garabandal have continued since apparitions started.
