Araceli, a young Latina fashion model, is offered a coveted runway gig and has to decide what to do with her unplanned pregnancy while mourning the recent death of her mother, a Mexican immigrant who sacrificed all for her family. Araceli is consumed by the dilemma and remembers many childhood memories, among them her desire to become a doctor.
