After the Sentinel attack with Hounds, the mutants are ever more divided whether to flee, make a stand or turn into total war mode. Marcos refuses to stoop to their persecutors' inhumane methods, but can't talk Lorna who carries his baby out of joining the Cuckoo triplets, who plead their own casualties outweigh collateral damage to innocent 'humans'. While they embark on a mission to stop Dr. Roderick Campbell and Senator Matthew Montez from promoting a full-scale hounds program to a national conference by destroying heir airplane, and Marcos tries to stop them in vain, Reed Strucker decides it's time to evacuate his family, which Andy opposes to make best of his full twin powers, but it's too late as a new Sentinel team with hounds found and surrounds the HQ, which is fully destroyed while the mutants escape last minute. Disgusted to be blamed for the failure his bureaucratic superiors sanctioned, the Sentinel resigned, bitter over all sacrifices. Written by KGF Vissers
