Public prosecutor and suburban family father Reed Strucker supervises the secret federal agency Sentinel services, which 'firmly' handles mutants. After locking up Lorna 'Polaris' Dane in a grim top-security facility, he's shocked to hear from his wife that his doted teen son Andrew 'Andy', who freaked out shattering the locker-room after school bullies abused him to despair in the showers. Before Reed gets home, the agency arrives, but Andy's elder sister Lauren, who just confided into their ma Kate to be a mutant too, used her powers to hold them off. Reed decides to run with his family, seeking assistance to go in Mexican hiding from Marcos 'Eclipse' Diaz, who co-runs the regional chapter of the underground mutant 'resistance' and accepts only if Reed helps free his lover, Lorna. The help of other mutants proves necessary as Sentinel is on their trail, now with a specially equipped arrest team. Written by KGF Vissers
