Commissioner Martin Beck's intends to resign after hearing his long-estranged son Micke Sjögren, who even took his mother Agneta's name after she left Martin years ago, was fatally shot by unknown fiends as involuntary-undercover amphetamine courier during Beck's colleagues John Banck and Yvonne Jäder's hunt for Polish drug smugglers.
